Size Does Matter & Smaller Means Faster Service
We are NOT one of the huge eviction law mills. Many ex clients of those firms tell us that they were frustrated dealing with these giant firms because they could not reach their attorney or could not find out the status of their case with a simple call. These firms process hundreds of cases each month but have no idea who you are or what your needs are as a client, and there is little chance that one of the firm's partners will ever know who you are.
One of our goals is to educate our clients in Landlord/Tenant law and Fair Housing issues to prevent mistakes and costly lawsuits. Because state and federal laws are constantly changing, many large management companies and private landlords seek our advice on various landlord/tenant issues before they implement any changes.
Personal Service and Experience to Guide You Through the Process
Let's face it, evictions are stressful, time consuming and frustrating. The last thing you need is a law firm that is non responsive or simply ignores you until they need you for something. Catching potential problems with your eviction case is our job. Sloppy paperwork and mistakes often cause major delays or even dismissal of your lawsuit if it has been prepared by an untrained person.
Mr. Schonfeld personally reviews each lawsuit and monitors it to prevent delay. Once the case is commenced, you may contact our office for an immediate status update without being shuffled around to several different people who cannot answer your questions.
Accountability and integrity with each of our clients is an extremely important goal for us as a firm and while we are always interested in expanding our business, we will not do so at the expense of allowing clients and their cases fall through the cracks or losing personal contact.
The Bottom Line . . .You Want a Quick Eviction!
We know that you are losing time and money for every day a tenant remains in your property without payment of rent. Our commitment to you is to process your case quickly and painlessly without enormous legal fees. We will process your matter within the boundaries of the law without taking illegal or unethical shortcuts which may result in lawsuits against our clients. Law firms or attorneys who guarantee that your tenant will be evicted by a certain date or within a week or two are either inexperienced in this area of law or are engaging in unethical/illegal methods to guarantee such a result. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!
How Quick is Quick?
If you retain our firm to handle your eviction case, the lawsuit will be processed and sent out to the Court for filing and service either the same day or within 24 hours as long as you have provided us with all of the required paperwork.
Realistically speaking, once your case is commenced, it is your Tenant and the Court the case is filed in which decides how long the eviction will take. Be cautioned that you are at the mercy of overworked court clerks who have no concern that you are losing rent every day and who really don't how slow or fast your tenant is locked out.
Please be assured that we have processed thousands of eviction cases and will do everything legally and efficiently to push the case through the system as quickly as possible. Remember that the old phrase "the wheels of justice grind slowly" is very true in the California legal system.
